 The tower is over 867 ft tall. It was formed from magma in the earth, then the softer rock around it eroded

Buffalo and Crazy Horse

 The park maintains a herd of up to1450 buffalo. Each year in Sept the buffalo are rounded up. If the herd exceeds that number, the excess is sold

 The Crazy Horse monument was started in 1948 and is not expected to be finished until 2048

 The head is 9 stories tall. MT. Rushmore would fit in this area

 No we were not driving the RV. But we did go thru in the car

ON the Road Again

Today we head for Custer, SD. We'll spend three days there, then on to Devils Tower. ON Monday we arrive in Gillette, WY for a Tiffin Motorhome Rally.
