Land between the Lakes, KY

We are on Barkley Lake which was formed in the early 60's by damming the Cumberland River. It was designed to match the level of the Kentucky Lake. When the project was completed it isolated a huge peninsula of land that become a National Recreation Area complete with buffalo and elk.
