Decided to connect drain pipes to all the down spouts on the house and channel them to the ditch. Also needed more fill, so decided to cut a patio/firepit into the hill behind the apartment. THe renters were pretty excited about that. Just what I needed another project.

Jocko and his crew started the footings for the bathroom and garage additions. These guys were determined. Not even snow or 17 degree temps could stop them. Will start block work Mon.

Happy New Year

Elle and I would like to wish all our friends and family a very Happy New Year. 2012 will find us completing additions on the house in WV(a new master bath and a 30x50 garage for our motor home and other toys). While we'll be making several short trips in the RV, we will be planning a long trip to Alaska in the summer of 2013. New Years Eve will find us at our local yacht club here in Solomons, MD sharing steak and lobester with our friends. Left WV because we could not ski due to lack of good snow.
